I've noticed that even the BMW's and Mercedes' don't have an extensive alarm system. I'm wondering what the premium alarm systems are; systems that would be worthy to put into a BMW/Mercedes.

    If someone knows, please reply.

    how's the bumper fitting?

about the alarm, it's all about the installation like jrscgsr said. do the installation yourself and you'll know the ins and outs of the alarm. things like hidding the alarm wires, hide the extra battery, fuel cutoff, and etc...also use other security like powerlock (locks your pedal).
any security that is man made can be breaken in. the security that u put in your car will just take them a little bit longer to break in and take the car. but regarless of what u put in, if they want your car they have a way to get it.

I think the high end cliffords are generally very nice alarms, but its all in the install. Get a good alarm and a crappy install, and its basically not worth it. Most alarms do the same thing anyways, most of the higher models just have a few extra options that you can add to it to control extra features like engine start. Thing is, I believe that BMW's and Mercedes are a lot harder to break into that our little hondas. Only the pros get into those cars, and when a pro wants your car, a pro is going to get your car regardless of a 200 or a 1000 alarm job. Just my .02
